Overnight Stay on Lake Minnetonka


Looking for a local weekend getaway for two? Look no further, this overnight stay on Lake Minnetonka is your answer, complete with your very own butler (pictured below).

You'll arrive late Saturday morning in time to plan out your activity for the day and have lunch. The overnight stay is for two guests, but the hosts will feed as many as eight for dinner, either outside on the deck overlooking Lake Minnetonka or in the former dining room of the house.

After a night's stay, you'll be served brunch on Sunday morning prior to your departure.

Available activities included: Paddle boat, canoe, kayaks, a captained power boat ride, or even docking space if you have your own boat. There's a beach very nearby, as well as biking and walking trails. For those not so interested in breaking a sweat, two hammocks are also available for your leisure. As a side note, there will be two dogs on the premises.

Available weekends: Aug.25&26, Sept.8&9, Sept.15&16, Sept.22&23 or Sept.29&30.

Jayne Cobb Hat

Merino Wool Scarf

This comfy scarf has got to be squeezed to be believed. The yarn was hand-painted in mesmerizing shades of blue and purple by a small women's co-op in Uruguay and imported by a small family owned company. Knitted up in a dense brioche stitch to maximize the naturally insulating tendencies of wool, this scarf will keep you warm through the cold Minnesota winter.

Knit Beanie

This unique skull cap was hand knit by our teammate, Jumi, from a Japanese yarn named Kujaku, after the peacock feathers that inspired the colorful polyester flecks that wrap around the 85% wool core. The innovated sideways construction makes this hat flattering on almost all head shapes/hair styles.

Our teammate, Leslie, is making a custom soap basket. The basket will include 4 soaps, a terry-cloth wash glove and a candle.

These are glycerin soaps made with liquid oil scents. The scents are mild. All colors are available in clear or opaque, and can be combined, layered and/or mixed. Gift baskets are available for any occasion.

This amazing pink ribbon bowling ball was donated to our team by Andy. It's produced by USBC's Bowl for the Cure, an organization that partners with Susan G Komen for the Cure, the same group responsible for the Breast Cancer 3-Day.

New York Cheesecake

This cheesecake is made by the mother of team member Leslie's friend. She makes it at Thanksgiving every year and everybody says that it is the most perfect cheesecake recipe ever!

The recipe comes from an older couple in Pennsylvania. It's dense, moist and incredibly creamy and is covered with a sour cream topping. She also makes it every year for the United Way auction at 3M, and it's a huge hit!
